Two out of Three ain't bad.....

Heads - Knoxville. Tails - Eagle. First flip, heads. Second flip, heads. Third flip tails. On a cold and damp Saturday morning it was fair to say that we would would rather be warm and rain out in Knoxville, than freeze our a$$e$ off at Eagle. So we loaded up and headed East.

Going to Knoxville these days is not like it use to be. Living close to the Interstate makes it a breeze. Jump on I-80 to I-35. Then Highway 5 to 92. It's all four lane and we can make it from my house to the racetrack in 3hr 30min if we don't stop.

Having any opportunity to race at Knoxville gives me that kid in a candy store feeling. It is true heaven on dirt....even if it rains out. Fortunately, we were able to deliver Cody Petersen his power plant, and pick up a couple of tires along with saying 'hi' to some old friends.

From there it was back in the truck and back to Lincoln. Nothing like a nice Saturday afternoon/evening drive!

This weekend we are planning on hitting Dodge City KS on Saturday and 81 Speedway in Park City KS on Sunday for the two NCRA opening shows.
