Full steam ahead!

Well that time of the year is almost upon us. The month of money is right around the corner. Everyone has been working hard at the shop getting ready for this weekends Denison - Knoxville trip and the 360 Nationals. Sandwiched in-between this weekend and the Nationals will be a trip to Princeton Indiana for some massaging from Tim Engler.

Last weeks quick notes: Our trip to Hartford was a good one. However we had more things go wrong than a Brian Brown press release! After a convincing win in the heat, we were ready for the feature. Last month the rocks took their toll on our wings....this time it would be the engine that took the beating. After getting the #2 plug wire ripped off on lap 4, another rock punctured the back side of the radiator. To add insult to injury we cracked some pistons in the process. Fortunately, we came away with a solid 3rd place, but left feeling like we had one slip away from us.

Knoxville: Time Trials! Well there is nothing like time trials to shed a little light on where your team stands in the mix of things. We were fortunate enough to register 4th quick on the clock at 16.359. We still have some work to do though and after coming from 6th to 2nd in the heat we were all very happy with Chad's performance. I over adjusted the car for the feature, and we came away with a moderate 12th place finish.

Thanks to Billy Alley for his help at the Red Carpet on Saturday, he is a good friend and fun to be around.

Until next time!

Mark
